    Desktop recorder and something to join quicktime files (& possibly edit them)

    Hey all,

    I took lots of videos with my iphone of my flag gridiron team playing offense and I'd like to join them all together before uploading them to youtube. Anyone know of a good piece of software to do this without giving me sound and video errors. If I can edit the videos, even better.

    Also,

    Anyone know a good desktop recorder? One that would take a video, with sound and also record where I click. Would be nice if it exported into a standard video format (mpg, wmv, mp4, etc) and if need be I could choose my compression settings, ie Quality settings.

    Apple's iMovie app can do all the joining natively on your iPhone. On the PC I use Sony Vegas Pro for all of my video editing.
