    Cas exchange congestion

    Over on whirlpool there's a thread about palmerslum exchange congestion.

    Matt from internode is chasing this up and is inviting ppl who have noticed a drop in performance to email him.

    He also linked a list of exchanges that telstra know about and are upgrading.

    First confirmed DSLAM.

    This has been verbally confirmed by Telstra but has not yet made its way onto the Telstra backhaul upgrade spreadsheet.

    Noticed this too a few weeks back actually prompted me to go out and buy a new modem thinking my 5year old billion and had given up.
    Went for a separate router modem combo in prep for the NBN.

    We have identified a congestion issue is present at your Telephone exchange of PALMERSTON, currently all ADSL services regardless of ISP are currently experiencing packet loss and slow speeds at peak times.

    Currently our carrier has not provided an ETA for an upgrade of the exchange, however it would be best to contact our Helpdesk on 136633 to arrange contact details for us to pass you further information when it becomes available
