Is now an OK time to upgrade?

I realise there's always something better on the horizon but is anyone who follows hardware these days aware of anything big coming in the next month or so that will drop prices down for CPUs or video cards?
    Thanks.

Depends on what games you want to play?

If I was you, I'd wait for couple of months when Crysis 2 and other big name titles come out that will push people's hardware to the limit. They would want to upgrade to the latest and greatest for the glory. Or just ask recoil for his computer in two months time he would of rebuild it anyway.
This post contains tracers of humor and nuts.

They have already fixed it. It will take several months before the new chipsets are filtered into the mainstream supply. Tbh it wasnt a massive issue

Maybe have a look at AMD fusion processor/bulldozer. Apparently it will be better than sandy bridge.

I hope nVidia beats out the new ATi cards for the simple fact of I hate hate hate Catalyst Control Center. 99% of my computer's problems are Catalyst related, if the card wasn't so good I'd have thrown it out a window by now.
