    PCIE Slots

    Question lads
New Mobo has two PCIE 2.0 16 Slots. Single card will run at 16 dual will run at 8.
if i put a dwa-556 Pcie Wireless adapter in the second pcie 16 slot will it firstly work and secondly will it effect the video card.
    Google gives some conflicting answers.
main reason is to give the cards some more airlfow.

You probally dont have Two 16x slots. 8x and 16x look the same length however it is the amount of lanes available. The Wireless adapter will work and only use 1x.

I havent tested but I would say without many doubts that it will not hinder your grafix at all.

Asus Sabertooth P67 and yes it does have two PCIE x 16 slots. If you run SLI they down to x8. tested the wireless card and it runs fine it the other slot. Just playing around with airflow at the moment
