    3dmark 11 score comparison

    So after recently getting a new mainboard and vid cards.

    I ran some testing using 3dmark 11 pro edition (unlocked)

    Im just trying to get a feel for how it went compared to other set ups aroun (not a epeen pissing contest)

    So the specs

    Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R - Not overally impressed with the board and wouldnt get another.
    6gb DDR 1600mem - 3 x 2gb sticks
    2 x Asus 6970 Vid cards
    i7 920 CPU

    So

    1 vid card gave me a score of 5480 points

    and running the 2 in x-fire gave me 7948 points.

    so not sure on how that goes compared, but be interested to know how other people travel?

    Was that in performance or extreme mode? Is that graphics, physics or combined score?

    Just ran extreme and got - 1538 which is terrible and expected .. my hdd's are old and my ram is old as well ..

    My new board is not running the memory correct

    You must share more info on your specs rec baby as I've been browsing the 3dmark results and as far as I can tell you are the only person to go above 3000 on a single 590gtx on extreme setting... ??!!!
