Thread: Strange router log

Hey guys just doing a random check over my network logs and found IN MY avg LOG that I am being bombarded by a Chinese IP. All is being blocked which is fine and apparently the ip is well known. While there I noticed 20 plus of the following:
C:\windows\system32\svchost.exe... Blocked... System PID:1376... Out:UDP... Remote Port: 57284... Local Port: 57707... Remote IP: (wifes) local IP: (mine)

Anyone have any idea what this may be...

What's the IP?

And out of interest, do you have Limewire installed?

The remote Ip is the wifes IP 192.168.0.8 on my lan, local ip is 192.168.0.4 ??? And no limewire...
And remember this only shows up on AVG friewall log

This is all I can really find about it - people reporting the same thing you have.

i.p. address 58.218.199.227 has been attemping several times a minute to scan my computer. My Malware bytes-anti malware has blocked it about 50 times in two days. : 58.218.199.227 Beijing Beijing China IP Tracer and IP Tracker and other DNS Tools.

Pretty much found out the same, what was making me look further was the wifes ip trying to connect to mine constantly. Put two and two together and you come with.......anyways doing some scans on the wifes computer now..cheers lenko
