Thread: ICDU CS Practice

Something that I think everyone in ICDU CS can agree on is that we need more practice! Both our last wars with SB have been pretty sad because we need to go over strategies more with each other before hand and also we need to get to know the maps better. Now that ICDU has pretty much a stable squad too it would help to practice to get to know each other and how we play, our specailities etc.

Two things i remember from this last DGA is from when Longtom said that we need to get some more practice and perhaps stop warring agaisnt SB all the time :wink: , and Ben Beckwith (dont know what his cs name is) said that all these good clans once sucked but then they practiced and got better, i quote: "If you were up against Syndicate a few years back it was pretty much GG before you started, you could go get some junk food halfway through the war or something and come back and you'd still win... and everyone used to think OmR was a joke but then they beat SB at WCG qualifiers all because they stuck together for a while and practiced the maps."

All we need to know is what server and when and i know i'll be there

yes static we know but dont forget when we played ont he weekennd we had 3 plays that know each other well u and hpeonix are still new so ya.
when we do need the practice i knwo for a fact that jsut befor wcg the omr girls went to wortels for something like 3 days straight of jsut plan lanning in cs oh and also drinking but ya.

now i would love for a lan to happen even if its jsut a saturday/sunday lan it would be great but the first thing in my mind is we need to get a line up sorted for cs like the 6 or even 7 main people we will have playing together all the time cause atm we jsut have basicly 3 that know our teams strats if we have any lol.

now this is my lineup i have of my head

Longtom, Skinny, Soloman, Static, Pheonix and futa. now that team would need alot of hours of practice and hard work to be at a sb standard but it can be done.

also my mummy said if i want i can have a lan at my house but its gotta be outside in the car port so if we cant get anything better u can all coem here

well if we can orgnise some prac on gamera area or something that would be good..
i might have another lan... dont know..

the cs part of it yes we have more for dc but

Can play CS will be playing CS 1.6 online now and will get better..just out of practise atm...Had too much work and not enough CS.

As soon as school finishes, in 2 weeks time, and i can practically play any day any time.. Im gonna start playin with bots again to get my snipering skills up to scratch. :oops:


I should be able to hold a Lan at my house if it's only 5 - 6 people.. In the lounge room, air con, TV, wat not, it kinda a jpined lounge room/dining room... ha dmy first LAN here

Also while Im here, whats the best res to run CS at, my 21" can play it at 1600x1200, but isn't this harder coz everything is smaller??? Just a question

res is wat u are comfey with i play with ummm the one above 800 x 600 cant remember wat it is, i know milenko plays with something that makes his cross hair smaller then the Q on you'r key bored :?

anyway i was thinking that one night we should get evryone go go on the internet and war all night i mean basicly all night becuase if we have a lan then its only jsut us all day talkign trats were as online we can have a proper game wat are ya thoughts also i would like the waring online to be more often even if im not waring you guys should be talking about it abit more, ebcuase i know static / pheonix / futa / morb and soloman all have adsl and probley can play at night if im not mistaking.
