Thread: It's a sad day for Longtom

Due to financial commitments I am going to have to give up my adsl for a few months. I have had a hard couple of months, this last one making me bite the bullet. However, i am still committed to getting this online DC up and running. I hopefully will be able to go to someone's place for a few games and there are more than a few of you that have some great captaining powers.

This brings a couple of questions.

1. Does everyone still want me to enter the team. From what i see yes. Therefore i will start re entering everyone.

2. Who should be the captains. Since everyone was ready to vote toki vice pres, i say toki should be one of the captains. He is great with commanding in game. Also Morbeous is an ample leader as well. Is there anyone else? i think 3 or 4 is all we should have (incase one or the other does not see a challenge etc.) I am thinking CPL as he is fairly unpredudice or MetalAttack as he has a 'Strong' Voice when it comes to teamspeak.

Never fear though, I will be working towards getting adsl back as soon as i can.

I agree, make Toki captain, with Morb (coz he seemd like he's organized, and concerned - plus a good DC leader), along with CPL because he always has a good opinion.

Longtom, we (Tommo and I) have a 1.5 meg, 256K link here, we think we can run 4 PC playing DC off it, please know that you are welcome to use this link for the GA comp.

First, Toki/Morb get in contact with Rec ASAP. Have spoken to him about the DC comp, and he still needs to hear officially from you that this is happening.
He needs a weeks notice, so do this now!

Also, thanks for the votes of confidence guys, but I do not think I would be a good captain for DC.
My tactics are sadly lacking in this game, and I would not feel confident about leading. Maybe after we have warred a few times, but to tell you the truth, I have only warred at LANs, and not online.
I am happy to be a follower.

I pay my adsl by the quarter, i have noticed i have another month and a bit up my sleeve so have convinced my fellow bean counter to leave it on until the current payment is up (unless she finds out they refund the money )
