We need volenteers to help us get this DC comp at DGA going and to run it on the day. Who can help and with what? We need input and heaps of it quickly. We don't have long to go.

K, first needed information: How many people per team?

    What maps?
How it will be played: (eg, elimination, points for winning, etc.)

    Just starting a few ideas

K lets get this organised, Morph can you pls contact the DGA admin and find out the times we can run this.

As soon as we get the times we can run it then we can start a topic for it, for team entries.

I say 9.00 onwards on saturday night.

    We will then select maps.

Burk your in charge of the white board (or you projector) for listing times, maps and teams for the comp.

Tommo will have one server to run stand alone, I'll host one game (no issue's with lag with me doing this and I'll get cheatish pings) and TN should be able to host a server as well.

We need a comp prize, anyone have any ideas?

Anything else we need to cover other than breaking ICDU into 2 teams?

When we do this do we create two equal teams or do we create what we beleive is ICDU team 1 and ICDU team 2 with team 1 being what we believe is the team that is most likey to win the comp?

If we do pick Teams 1 and 2, we should do this after the map selection phase.

Longtom our general you we be incharge of genral map tatics and team focus after the Map selection phase.

    Any thing I missed?

Any thing need to be added?
Why do some people think corecting spelling is a witty retort?

He needs a weeks notice, so do this now!

Also, thanks for the votes of confidence guys, but I do not think I would be a good captain for DC.
My tactics are sadly lacking in this game, and I would not feel confident about leading. Maybe after we have warred a few times, but to tell you the truth, I have only warred at LANs, and not online.
I am happy to be a follower.

I agree, Matt would make a good leader, no mistaking that voice

I am willing to help run the tourney, getting it started and taking results etc. Whatever is needed.

I will be doing this with Rec in the CS comp anyways, as I will now be helping Rec out in the future in DGA comps.

    OK have contacted Rec.

9pm is proably a little early, as the other comp is only starting just before dinner - 7ish I think.
We could have the start time flexible, and start it after the other comp is finished, like 10/11ish.

How many people were we going to have in the teams? How long did we think it would run?

I know a lot of this will depend on interest on the day, but he needs a rough estimate.
