As you all should know, we have been given permission to run a DC comp at the next DGA.

After discussion with those that where available at the time it has been suggested that it be 8v8 and the maps should be Lost Village, Eastings, Basrahs Edge and Sea Rigs. We have been given the time after the DGA Official comp (which could be 11 or 12ish). So due to this each round will be 20 minutes. (which is why the smaller maps)

Has anyone any comments on this?

The other thing to bear in mind is that if the majority want BF:V instead of DC it may change to a BF:V Comp.

I think we will wait until the day, and if we get enough/more interest in running Vietnam, we will do so.
Cant fight the flow, and it will be interesting to play a new game.

Not sure if this has been posted on the DGA forum (I will check) but I have asked Rec whether he will post or if we can, and as yet have heard no response back from him.

    Will keep you posted.

    Nothing happened.

MAYBE because Toki (who was a major part of the comp) didnt show.

But largely because there simply were other games. DC barely got touched, due to games like UT2004 and FarCry being released.

Speaking of FarCry, too much FarCry + no sleep = interesting drive home. I keep NOTICING foliage :S

I decided to call off the comp, because UT did not finish until 2:30am, and I for one was in no condition to play.
We hardly had enough members ourself for a team, and there was little interest in playing at that late time by anyone else.

We will just have to organise one for next time. Blame the power oputage, there was nothing anyone could do about that, and it pushed UT back by a few hours.
