Increase in performance by:

CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS TO WHAT YOU LIKE, HIGH OR WHATEVER.
NOW,DO NOT DO ANYTHING BUT EXIT THE GAME,
IN MY COMPUTER GO TO: mydocuments/battlefield2/mods/BF2/Cache


open the folder with the long stringy name and delete everything YES EVERYTHING in that folder.

Follow all the steps that guy tells you, but do not delete any folders, just the files INSIDE the folders. SOme guys may have 2 folders, others may have 5..it doenst matter just delete all the files inside the folders.. THe people in that post are all experiencing boosts in framerates, and i posted here to let everyone know..

now load your game and choose a map, the first time it will take extra slow t o load but your performance should be better.

Apparently many people are having increased graphic performance.
