Thread: Sydney Gamers League (SGL)

For all us people who live on the East coast of Australia, and are too far away from DGA :cry: we do have SGL. The next event will be on the 4th October, and registrations (400) are taken today or tomorrow. I am definitely considering going, and I am wondering if anyone else would want to come as well. I am only a virgin at lanning (I've never done it before, other then a cafe) but I am pretty excited. SGL is unfortunately, rather expensive. $25 for 13 hours. It opens 10am Saturday, and closes 11pm Saturday. $25 gets you food and stuff. Doesn't seem anything as fun as DGA, but hey, it's a start for me

Do we know how often this sort of thing happens in Sydney? This is the first I've heard of SGL and I guess its a bit late now to get anything together for this one.

Um... happens monthly. Normally they have the date for the next one 2 weeks in advance, so just check weekly. The next one is this Saturday, but I guess noone is going, which isn't a problem. The one after would probably be the first weekend in November. Do you reckon you wanna come? It's only 1 day and a little bit more expensive then DGA.

I'm in NSW as well and I wanna check the gaming action... recently saw a 5 man war go on and I've never seen so many BSHS and even through walls!!!

Someone PM me if there's gonna be one soon... I just wanna check out the action.
