    The first ID Software LAN - SB Style

    Ok its booked and happening.

    Bits and Bytes on the 25th of September starting at 2pm - 2am

    We are going to run THEMED lans for a while to get some fun back into the different styles of games.

    Games played on the nite to a rough timetable include.

    Doom - Some variety put down yo mouse fool.
    Quake - Original fast paced quake
    Quake Mods - Some of the best of the old ones, airquake etc
    Quakeworld TFC - Cause you always need some TFC
    Quake 3 - Get some DM and team DM going - random teams for fun.
    Quake 3 RA - Vorly is totally banned

    and the biggie -

    The first Darwin DOOM3 DM Competition. - and mess around with some mods.


    Limited to 20 spots at a cost of $10 each.

    In future we will be having different themed lans.
    ie Next one I would like a RPG lan only - Diablo2, Sacred, NWN, Lineage etc
    After that a BAttlefield LAN with all mods
    And by that time we should see HL2 out so we can hold a Valve LAN.

    These are smaller lans with the aim to get the fun and friendship back.
    Plus a nice excuse to get really pissed with no under 18's to watch out for

    Post or PM or MSN if your interested in coming to this one or possible future events, we can expand past 20 but would prefer to keep it small.


    Clan SB are running these events.

    sounds like a good one, i may have to attend the battlefield lan. Quake/Doom don't rock my socks, but i'll keep a look out for Battlefield lan.

    haha.. good idea hey tn1.. i don't mind driving to Palmo for that, especially now i have my flat screen.

    can i just say, finishing at 2am is a bit :S just for people that get lifts with parents, etc. don't know if this will be an issue, it's certainly not for me.
