Hi Guys.

Letting you all know that there is a new LAN on Brisvega's southside on the 11th September.

Its called AvGL and will be held at the function center at Runcorn. Its gonna be a good one! We have broadcasting rights from Madman to show Anime and one massive projector to splash it up on as well as the tournaments on the day. We also have sponsors for prizes to the winners of the tournament.

At this stage we are aiming for 50 players... However we are ultimately aiming for about 100 players. We have the infrastructure just need to get the word out. One of our sponsors are going to be there aswell with some stock on hand if anyone has the need or urge to upgrade or replace stuffed parts. There is a few places fairly near by to get food, we will also be having a BBQ for lunch, pizza or fish&chips for dinner, and have choccies chips and drinks there aswell... but there pretty much any direction you go its not far to get some munchies... The runcorn taver is no more than 300 meters away!

We will be holding 5 set tournaments on the day... as well as other games people can just join or start as they please. For each tournament we have prizes for the winners... things like neons or fans or those funky lightup mouse pads...however as the tournaments score carry over for both personal and team players we are trying to acheive a tournament at the end of the year where the top players and teams battle it out to see who is the best.... the winning team will then be engraved onto the tournament shield and the winning indivual will get the ultimate prize... worth about $600... though at this stage we are still pondering what thats going to be... we are leaning towards a real nice case thats been modded.

The Function center is pretty much brand new so its plenty nice and can hold plenty of people.

the cover charge is $10 per head which pretty much covers the cost of the function center, allows us to buy food and drinks and sell them on nice and cheap and pay for all the other running costs for the LAN Party.
