Thread: NOS LAN PRESENTS March lan

This months lan runs from 10pm on the 10th until 10pm on the 11th be there!

NOS is a lan that we run in an airconditioned church hall. We have access to their toilets, kitchen facilities (fridge for drinks etc.), a small room with an aircon to sleep in, or we can sleep in the main room with our computers. (which is carpeted) alright the cost is $15. We have a full gigabyte network as well!

We need you to registar by ringing one of the following people sealcomm on 0412151546 Brak on 0413327249 GIR on 0413316564 or me LEECH on 0431060980.

It is ran at Abundent Life Christian Church in leayner at bottom of leayner drive near the primary schools.

All you need is a computer with a network cable and HEADPHONES (no speakers) and a power board

we normally play these

Games

HL2 is something to have. (if you don't have it yet, purchase it over the net, its cheaper and you get more. DOD, CS etc.)
Warcraft 3
Swat 4

We also play a bit of NS, or other HL/HL2 mods
We play battle for middle earth
Some guys play need for speed
Dawn of war
BF2

I forgot to mention that we dont organise any food so bring your own or their is Hibiscus shopping centre up the road. We do however sell softdrinks at $1.50 a can. Keep it cool

At past Lans we have run with out any advertising we get 15 to 20 people. Currently we only have room for 30 people max. (hopeful to expand)

We also are drug and alcohol free... that means no drugs or alcohol plz

if you dont like our rules you dont have to come. We have rules such as no alcohol and drugs because we want to offer a safe place for the younger generations to game. Drugs and alcohol cause anit social behavour and we dont need that at our lans. We are focused on having a fun LAN and thats why rules exist.

However i think you will find info about the dga on the dga section of forums

Do you know what a winking eye (;-)) means?

Lighten up, mate. With that sort of attitude, I'm sure your LANs will be LOTS of fun.
