The loation is the PCYC? Forgive me if I'm wrong but it doesn't have aircon as far as I'm aware. And CPU intensive gamage in this weather w/out aircon, with a multitude of other smelly people in a small space, isn't the best thing, for the people and the systems.

I thought that the NT's biggest Lan yet would have a venue to match..?

Gimme indoors, gimme air-con, gimme space.
That only has one of them, and space on concrete with glare from all sides aint my idea of good space.

I guess you guys didn't really take note of the fine print. It's not at the PCYC. It's at the Police TRAINING building. Not for little punk kids like Minorci. (Just kidding Kelly. ^O^)

The venue is FULLY airconditioned. If I decide to use the gym though, I'll be getting an industrial (YES INDUSTRIAL) aircon for it, and it'll be closed up. Also, there's no problems with humidity. ^_^

They usually do-do food runs fairly frequently. ^_^ I will be.

Berrimah may well be a bit out of the way, but in real terms the police training centre is locatted just on the edge of Karama.
So thats a Coles, a Bilo, red roster, and a pizza haven just with in 2-5 mins drive, that 2-5 mins is depentable on your driving ability and or speeds.

Hi gamer doods. Okay the LAN is being held inside the Police training College in 2 classrooms. They are airconditioned, carpeted, with flash arse curtains and whiteboards.

There is also a large kitchen within the complex with microwave ovens, electric ovens, drink machine, chip and chocolate machine, (no donut machine). There is also a pay telephone you can use to call whoever be it mommy or the girlfriend or boyfriend if you so desire.

The pool is there along with tennis courts, basketball courts and bbq area. As for food, the Karama shops are not too far away and you can get everything there.

It would be fantastic if we could hold a LAN where everything is there but its almost an impossibilty. I did approach the manager of Coles if we could clear 2 aisles and set up next to the chocolate and munchie section but he told me to piss off.

Jesus it was only 2 aisles.

No really its a great location and as long as we treat it with respect and do the right thing, they the Police man has said we can use it again in the future.
