Thread: What r ur thoughts on the lan ?

Well mine r:
As u should all know this was my first lan\even hosting. And for me it was a success

My thanks goes out to TN1 and Clackers whoes help an equipment made the lan possible (and to these ppl i have new found respect). Also to the ppl who helped set up and put back equip ect.

We have a few pics, there wasnt going to be any but sardok braught his camera and secured a few group shots.

So yeah post ur thoughts, and in advance im sorry i tked u :twisted:
I had a few tk battels going u may have just got in the way. Next time ill get ff turned off.

Also, btw ppl regestering was so i could make informed decisions on getting things set up (tables + chairs), its my fault i didnt put an expiratry time\date on it so ppl registered for it within a few hrs of start time. Well these things i have\will learn.

And for ppl who didnt register at all,... hmmm

So anyway, i had fun and i hope that u all did too.

it pwend the LAN funny was watching some poeple at the start of the map get TKed by me in the curiesr(spellin) when you are trying to take off in the plane and the boat

My thoughts are.. that my computer is going to spend some time at the bottom of the Elizabeth River...

Had a great time at the LAN, Thanks Vinc for a well organised LAN, the network was perfect :lol: .
Battlefield 1942 was great fun only 24 people on the server at once, but still had a ball, and I and happy to say Vinc has lost his 1337 flying skillz to Brad brad mastered the fliying with his joystick... and me with the sniper rifle 8)
The best moment was on Sunday arvo when we palyed a real game of BF, 6 on 6. Team work is the key to this game, Unseen vorly Brad and my self proved this point.

anyway had a blast cant wait for DGA #16 and a full version of BF1942.

speaking of servers that new one kicked ass my ping was very low all the time i saw it at 13 once though :S someone was proberly leeching

love bf1942 even though i am hopless with the plane i liek riding in jeep and giving people lifts makes me feel special and important this game will kick ass if we get some of tem bigger clan into say a 7 on 7 battle or higher thats somethign crazy c or unseen can organise for dga

o another think about that new server howie sat night it was fucking rigged it was so fucking weired even i yes KNIGHT OF NIH was etting kills not just kills but l33t head shots
even raker was kicking ass for a bit but there was head shots going on everywhere like it was amazing

Well done Vinc, and also indirectly to tn1 and clackers(for the equipment by the looks.)

Was a great LAN and you organised it to perfection as far as i could tell. It is through hard efforts by ppl like you that we gamers get to test our skills on things other than crappy 56k modems.

I'm sure everyone who attended also appreciates the efforts(well deep down they do :roll: ) of all organisers involved.

Hopefully there'll be more lannage, and good to see no bitching and threats of never holding a LAN in darwin again.... :wink:

Yeah id have to agree, i lost too many 1 on 1s to him for it to be consided a fluke

lol, but i was out numbered for most of that air combat only round 3 on 1, cause knight of nih dosnt fly, it was me against unseen, chad and vorly

My favorite move was winging 3 ppl in one swoop sitting on the allied airbase

heh.... i think once i started playing instead of just mesing arround i was constantly in the top 3

but i think we all had a blast

even tho the left hand side of the room never won a game
