Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to announce that i have had a thought *waits for the screams*

There are a few lads down south, that i know would like to make it to Darwins EVO and DGA events, but due to technicle difficulites, are unable to rob banks and get the money.

So, whats everyones thoughts, on creating a fund for these poor souls?
Im not talking much, maybe $5 or $10 from each local Darwin person. That way, these guys who alot of us Darwin gamers would like to meet, have an opportunity to head on up to Darwin and bless us with their LAN skills

Im not talking about paying the whole airfare. but at least scrape together say a few hundred in all, and distribute it as best we can among the gamers who are genuinly having troubles getting to Darwin.

Or is that too compassionate ?

Well getting $5 from every 100 people would scrounge up about $500, barely enough for an airplane ticket. But might get them somewhere on fuel other transport means etc.

well i'm sure i dont know the people to well but who cares it's a good cause so i will chuck in $5 if we do it they should get here by car less cost and they dont gotta worry about shipping of the computers pluss costs for that so yeah

Well i didnt mean that like we find the money to fund the entire trip for each individual person, caus thats just silly.

But maybe a couple of the guys would come up say $150 short or something, then we could all pitch in a little.
