    *** Venue Booked 60 seats **** see page 9

P-Air LAN Registration page , Please sign up as I will need to know how many people are attending the LAN.

Well, I've gone an bought me a cheapy 24 port switch to get started with, thinking I'll get used to the basics and work out what to spend the big money on at a later date. (CNSH-2400 24Port 100 BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Switch)

So, testing it will be in order. At this stage, making plans to hold a small fun party on the weekend 22-23rd feb. We have the switch, about 6-8 of our gang, and whoever else would like to turn up. Next thing is to find a venue, idea's anyone. I'll be getting onto that once I've managed to get time off over the weekend in question.

    Games, we'll be messing with

Battlefied 1942 - The gangs keen to have ago at teams
    Warcraft III
    Age of mythology
Haegamonia (I- want to have a go over the lan with this, patiently waiting for the gang to work out how to play it)
    Serious Sam second encounter
Crimson Skies - Make sure you've a good joystick
UT2003 - Havent played yet, but looking at setting up
    + a few more

In addition to the 24 port switch, I also have 2 x 5 port net gear switches

Wont be running scores or anything, just ad hoc, who wants to play ### next etc, we'll see haow it goes.

Anyone interested?? I guess costs of hiring the venue will be shared, depending on where the venue ends up, we'll bring the barbQs

Edit - tn1.Add URL for rego page.

NOTE: The last time DGA hired the bridge club the costs where $150 per day. This may have changed as we have not been there for around 6-8 months. There is a phone number at the front of the Bridge Club, but I think the lady is hard to get a hold of .. This is just a heads up!!
