well i am home and cleaned up
i had a ball
i didnt leech annything but a game
o well
played a fair bit of cs and Bf which was very good

the network was very good of what i saw it
thans to morbeous and the rest who helped set it up
the power was also superb than again for that
THANKS TO P-AIR for organising it all and hope u had funy buddy

money wise i think i collected money of everyone
with wortel still owning 55 cents to the kitty

Well I just got up from sleep......

The night seemed to go pretty well, and I was quite happy to see we didnt have any major dramas.

Was good to meet everyone, and we'll have to organsie another some time in the future. Now that we have seen what happens at these small events, next time we will look at maybe setting up a few competitions, and maybe prizes.

I would like to thank the guys/gals that came in and helped setup, and thank everyone else for turning up and having a good time. And also for ULC for thier switches. (And we cant forget Knight for organising the fee collections, thanks mate. I think we actually turned a small profit, so will think of aquiring some prizes for next time)

Battlefield 1942 seemed to be the next big game that was played at the event, next to CS of course. And at one stage I think we had about 18 players, which after we locked the server off from file and printer sharing, seemed to run quite well. Morebeus seemed to take pretty well to BF1942, kept the server busy to all hours of the morning. He is getting quite deadly with that rifle. (Only bad thing about BF is that it tells u who killed you last so expect some retailitaion if you take a pot shot at morbeus :lol: )

On a side note, someone had left behind a cd-holder, containing some original cd's. If that person would like to get in touch with me, hinting at what games were inside, I'll try to organise to get it back to you asap.

All in all, I had a great time, and I hope everyone else did also. Thankyou for being my guinea pigs.

Yes great lan Peter - well done for your first lan, would love to see more and hopefully see something come from all this.

CS was good with pings of well quite literally 0 at a lot of the time. File sharing wasn't to bad, was quick enough.

Was good to see so many new people - at least half the room was new

BM CS server was good - a few probs with forcechasecam (which i fixed at about 5am when there was no one around ) and tk punish - next time they'll be fixed. Was also good to get some admin practice in :wink: watch out now :twisted:

From Knight the total turn out was 36 or 38 people.
