The LFG syndrome - Where to find a party

How can we overcome this and mix match parties a little better.

Post where you have been partying lately and it might get some discussion going or some different people joining your groups.

Gratzz Party aka No home like Patriots

    In Patriots most nites
Extremely good for 52-58, but good for 45+ and 58-61 in back rooms
Average XP : Duo 10-15K each
    party of 4 - 7K each
    party of 7 - 5K each
    party of 9 - 3.5-4K each

At level 61 I still get 10% a nite there with gratzz which is usually my aim.

We havent been trained or had any farmer problems in there for a long time

However for the next few days i'll be in DV killing drakes to try and get a Kesh Rec

hunting parties need to reflect where we would get the broadest range of materials for the warehouse.

gathering needs to be a focus as opposed to the exp.

    exp grind = boring
but relabel it as "the bone session" or the "kesh recipe session" and it doesnt seem so boring.... actually the kesh recipe session would be boring as it doesnt yield instant results.

I put it to you that people would rather be in a farm group that is getting some exp than a plain old exp grind group?

maybe other people can have inpout into that.

I am gonna say this next part and its gonna annoy people but i dont care ...... the necros and cats are basically for AA and blank scroll they do not contain diverse enough materials within the dungeons to make them a sole place of farming... maybe every now and then but not every night in the same place.... or you'll end up with a whole lot of 1 resource ie in pats... bone!

oh yeah as far as where I hunt if its exp you want then i am nto the best person as i prefer to hunt for spoils rather than go for the big exp session.

often in DC area smashing mobs... TOI /GC... occasionally in cats/necros but i am so over the whoel ancient adena thing atm, i do recognise though it will be imporntatn in the future for dualling a grade swords and unsealing armor... but basically you need to have the armor before you can unseal it so doing quests such as iferi ore and aden dead thingy help get a grade mats as does gc quest..........

This is something that can be tackled in the subsequent phase once we have decided on a clan craft system.

We could have a poll on how ppl want to play the game but I suspect I know the answer to this allready based on my experience in EQ.
There was a reason we only ran 2 raids a week...

I would put it to you in another way. Rather than telling ppl where to XP and what not we may select 2 material collection days in the week. The crafter can select the target as he knows best what he needs to finish off the recipes.
The target areas have levels associated with them. All those ppl who fall into a particular level category can then agree to mandate themselves to a compulsory attendance with one caveat..
We can only have as many groups as there are spoilers and those groups will have to be in the spoilers range or we will not spoil much.

The caveat therefore would be that if I log on and the "spoiler group" of my level range is not full, I join in. If its full then I am released to seek other entertainment OR I can chose to relieve another person from the group. There will be the obvious limitations to this based on class.

In this way we have a guaranteed hunt for mats which ppl can plan for and if the group is full then ppl can help out in other ways or catch up on other stuff they wanted to do (like quests or pharming AA for tats and enchants etc...)

Once we can raid or ally to siege you will see the weekly calendar fill up very quickly indeed...
