Yay well done on actually beating our first raid mob, albeit we had to use lowbies:p :p
I didnt get any screenies :-(
Bifron was no hassle, smashed him to pieces, and the rewards:7 white tunics(on my screen there were 7 - lots of d grade crystals to crunch) and approx 500 stem i think. I think he is lvl21, and we were mostly lvl24 so perhaps within 3 levels is still ok for raids?
When biffron was almost dead, he 'resummoned' himself or something and was back to half hps. I lost targeting when he did it.
Then we had Greyclaw Kutus in our sites. As we're finishing up buffing, of course a GM(Silver) petitions me about changing my name. I asked him to wait and watch our raid(cos he needed me to log off a sec to change my name), so he did.
All buffed up, we gave a great warcry and sarogoth agro'd and ud'd on him. After gaining the mobs attention, we all assisted. With 2 tanks, 3 healers and the rest nukers, we made fairly quick work of his 4 minions. A glorious site of fire and wind being manipulated and hurled at these evil minions. So his followers are wallowing in hell, and we start beating on kutus himself. All cocky from our previous banishment of bifron, we think this will be over in a matter of minutes. Wrong! Damn this minion was imbued with an unholy aura, and his unnatural health was disconcerting. The protectors of the realm unloaded with all they had, until they had exhausted their magical energy and spells. Kutus was approximately half dead when our heroes had no will to summon anymore nukes, but being of stout heart, they started beating on this evil thing with their magical weapons. Slowly, with a gleam in their eyes, the heroes knew it would just be a matter of time, as the healers gods' were still paying attention and supplying the healers with ample healing power, however the damage output was slowed down but kutus knew he was destined to die. Unfortunately for our heroes, kutus was merely toying with them, giving them a false sense of security.
Being approximately on 1/4 hp, Kutus decided enough was enough, time to swat these insignificant upstarts and show them who holds real power in aden. The looks of shock and despair decended on the entire party almost simultaneously. Kutus mumbled a few arcane words, and ripped his minions back from where they had been banished. The party, starting to get exhausted, and having been spent of mana, had no way to deal with the reappearance of his dreaded henchmen. The battle was still raging, but in reality it was over. The addition of the minions was enough to overwhelm our poor defenders of the realm, and that was when the party had to scatter to the hills in order to survive to fight another day. Those who died were magically given life again, and a pact was made that day, a pact to rid aden of Greyclaw Kutus and his unholy followers.
Gm Silver gave his condolences and remarked we almost had himThen i had to change my characters name :p
Well done guys, we have learnt much in just 2 raids, we need to kill the boss before he resummons his minions and it looks like an all mage party needs to consider it's mana requirements more. Perhaps a few melee classes would help or just more nukers.:p :p
