    Alliance stuff raids etc

    Nice work guys

    100 odd mil worth of stuff on our first RAID nite with the new alliance.

    We held our end up very well. Had about 11-12 characters from SB there.

    Had a meeting on Vent Sat nite with the guys and they seem happy with how we went.
    Tallum helm will be given to one of the clan leaders to complete his set.
    Dyes I think are going to another member who was after those.
    I think we are getting the DC shield

    Ok some of the other points raised.

    I need 2-3 'officers' that can speak for me when i'm not around and help organise things. If you are on most nites and willing to act in a mature manner about it let me know.

    The LFG spam on alliance chat...this was raised by TheBlu.
    I ask you guys to cut it out pls.
    Nps putting 62 Destroyer LFG once
    But i'm seeing this and its annoying.

    " LFG'
    2mins later
    " LFG'
    1 min later
    " noone wants to group?
    1 min later
    " no groups going then?
    1 min later
    " no groups for me

    Just relax ehh guys, if you don't get a response from your first message then leave it for a while. We are only in our first week of alliance and we will know these guys better as times go on.

    Also some of the things said in alliance chat are really only SB related so use clan chat for those please.

    More info and thoughts going up on another thread.

    Aye Chop.

    First Mob -
    Failed attempt as we learned Strat
    Failed Run2 when Boss was engaged prior to Tank getting aggro.
    3rd Attempt - Drooped like a stone

    2nd Mob - Forbidden Gateway
    Dies with no losses, did not seem that hard as well

    3rd Mob - Headless Knight
    Long Fight, a real test of Mana Usage. This fight provided a lot of information and highlighted a few points;

    Recharge Bots / Heal Bots;
    They need more hotkeys and the ability to switch. There were 3 occassions where ThBlu was indicating he did not need heals or recharging and mana would be better spent elsewhere. The bot did not switch targets is my impression of what was going on there - wasted mana.

    Levels;
    This was a level 70+ mob, the alliance Nukers in the 70+ range were the only nukers hitting him, sadly there is no SE in SB that could recharge them. This is purely a level releated thing. Levels are important in Raids, especially amongst the Alliance.

    Elven Elders;
    The Shield Block Buff and the ability to insta-teleport, seemed to be high on the list of requirements, so much in fact they had to get an EE from another Clan in to do the job. On the Headless Knight the Shield Block Buff was considered to be vital, and saved a ton of damage on TheBlu. Elven Elders really start to show thier true versatility in Raids.

    A fun and interesting night, and hopefully one that showed what Elly has been saying all along - it is worthwhile to level your main, raid the big boys and get some progression underway...and whilst some of the alliance are fairly young, they are pretty hardcore and competent.
