    Wow Guild.

    I know this is L2 Discussion...but anyway

i just want to say if you want to put everyone from GU in the wow guild we can make the real SB crew officers..because as officers we can talk amongst ourselves and not have to worry about the whole clan...

but there is a heap of people playing atm so it'll be heaps fun...

post here if you want to sign up and play wow. i will kinda hipocritical...but oh well. gunna make a shadowpriest...pretty good for lvling..

and also if you want to know anything about world of warcraft, ask milenko. he knows everything.

Yeah the last few weeks months i've been mentioning this to some SB members.
I think by the time we are all sick of L2, and private servers, maybe a month , maybe 2, maybe tomorrow, I would like us to move to a different game.

Wow suits both the hardcore players and the time limited and anda will happy to know there are limited ways for people to grief you.

No buffbots, no 2boxing, 5 man instances where NOONE can get to you , i think the relaxed playstyle will suit a lot of ppl more.

Altho there will be some adjustment to be sure with the way the PVP system is setup there. Its very different to what some of our guys are used to.

    Just something on the horizon

buffs dont really make as much of a difference in wow as Lineage..there is only 3 real buffs (Intel, Fort and MOTW) that really do anything, they last 30mins or 60mins depending on the skill lvl.

as far as ganking and PVP, it does happen, but the difference is 90% of the time you see an ally you kill him or he kills you, there are times where some will help you, or not attack, but you know what lvl they are (as long as they arent more than 10 lvls above, then they turn skull), you know they are hostile.

the good thing is if you're engaged in pvp, all horde will help you if they are near, duals are just for fun, and there is no way to attack your own faction. so pvp is always set out, you know when and where it will happen most times, so it is avoidable. of course ganking happens, corpse camping sucks, but with a big guild like GU we will be everywhere, and it doesnt take long once we get mounts

kurt: yes it is. 3 months is about $50 and the game's about $60 now too.

Yeh im a bit of a WoW Nerd.
I've memorised about 85% of the games quests, zones, skills, talents etc :p

So if you have a question you can ask me, including which race is best, which classes and why, weakness vs strengths of classes etc.
Im pretty on the ball :p

If we do create a guild, i vote we play horde. Not for any reason such as 'omg alliance are all kids', but because the Horde are a bit harder to level, but seem to enjoy owning in Battlegrounds. Plus the undead look plain cool.

Im sure the bananas will enjoy making Taurens too :p

As far as classes go, im leaning towards Undead Warlock.

Im more than happy to setup the guild. Online presence isnt too much of a problem, as you can delegate officers with invite rights, straight away.
The only other thing is we have to decide which server and take a vote if we want alliance or horde as our faction. (Horde ftw).

Kurt - WoW is p2p, yeh.
