is it regular that severs dont even appear on the list like all the oceania ones?

Not usually no, but you get the odd occasion where servers go down, or restarts take hours, just like every other mmo/server does now and then. Sometimes they don't appear because of this.

You will find queues in US peak time, there are a lot of people playing WoW it does get a bit annoying at times.

the only gripe i have with wow is that they hardly tell you why its going down...

a message will just come up (it doesnt happen often, appart from the weekly maintaince) "Server will be shut down in 15:00"

this queue thing my posistion keeps going up and down is that normal and the estimated time is like microsoft time estimation?
why are american ip allowed on a oceania server?

Should only go down.

the time may go up and down, not the possie tho.. but do what most of use do, put yourself in the cue and go do something else for a while :p

and although its an oceania server, it is hosted in america, and we have been using american servers scine Beta, so it wouldnt be fair to ban them from using ones dedicated to "aussies"

i think because i have 1 of those 14 day trial kits that i keep getting pushed back in the queue and my hatred of quests is coming back as the quests get more stupid but the only way to lvl and get money and items as bugger all stuff drops almost as bad as l2 drop rate so a lvl 13 troll warrior looking for ppl to leach of on j something in oceania server list

I'm surprised you are finding problems with the quests. Most of them are based around grinding some mob which you would normally be killing at the time. Although, as a troll the senjin village quests around the islands can be a pain, zalzane can be hard without a party if you are not familiar with your class.

I'm guessing now that you are in the barrens, drop rates start to pick up in the teens, particually from the harpies in the northern barrens. Most of the quests that issue from the crossroads are to kill mobs or collect parts from mobs that you will be grinding on to around level 20.

But if you really hate quests just because they're quests, grind centaurs to the east of XR until level 15. Then head to the north eastern part of the barrens and grind harpies. They range from 15-19 as you get deeper into them. There is also a vendor in the eastern barrens just south of the harpies that you can sell your loot to without returning to the XR.

Best tip for level 15-18 is to get in a 5 man group and run rage fire chasm, a small instance in the city of orgrimmar. Instances are always a high loot drop zone.

Quick tips. Dont vendor you linen, grab the herbalism skill and mining skill and sell linen, herbs and ore on the auction house in orgrimmar for much better cash than you can get at a vendor.

Being Tuesday I have no Raids and will prolly be on the new oceana server. Have a hunter called Thrax (in the barrens atm) and mage called chant. Happy to help you out with info on using the auction house and places to level and such.

At a general level I will work Chant in tailoring so that when you guys get going I will be able to help out by kitting you up with bags and any green items I come across.

The guy I sold/gave my WOW account too is buying me a new copy soon, I should be on and mucking aroubnd maybe this weekend.

I still want to get my hawkeye to 75+ and do some serious PVP in ES first
