Thread: Room in or near CBD. Will pay $200/week

I spotted this on Facebook Marketplace which doesn't seem too popular so I'm reposting it here. I would take it up myself but I don't live near the CBD and being a chick I wouldn't feel comfortable letting a strange guy into my home. Maybe there's a guy on here who lives near the city and wants to make some easy money from this tourist?

I'm a young guy working behind the bar at the Holiday Inn on the Esplenade full-time for at least 5 months. Good sense of humor, easy-going, likes to cook up a good feed and I am loving everything about Darwin so far! :-)

Looking for room, not fussy about what it is, rent preferrably $200 but negotiable, location MUST be CBD or close to CBD.

Ready to put down money and move in YESTERDAY.

I think the current going rate for CBD here in Darwin is $190-210 per week (Cheapest I've seen is 102pw)

Yeah he wants to share with someone, not have his own place. If you think it should be more, maybe he'd be open to negotiation?
