Just to let you know my Brother has a Konka 38 inch CRT television Purchased it just before the Introduction of GST years ago at 2000 dollars it is a seriously large Television and actually heats the room noticably in winter time well at least several degrees. It took two men with a struggle to deliver it. It runs a US made tube but was manufactured in China.

Now that's a monster, I knew there must have been some bigger CRT's around, I've just never seen one and I imagine they wouldn't be common.
