Thread: New ATI 5770 (Gigabyte Silent Cell version) - Darwin Area

Hi All, I ordered a Gigabyte ATI 5770 Silent Cell Video card last week, and it arrived yesterday, disappointingly, it's too long for my case, so I can't use it!

It's a new model that only came out a few weeks ago, and it is completely passively cooled with a massive Heatsink, so it's a silent card... (was going to replace my Silent 8600GT). Unfortunately there isn't enough space between the back of my case and where my drive bays are to fit it in (unless I get an angle grinder to it!)

It cost me $199 + $12 postage, and has been opened up and looked at, but not used... looking to sell it for $190 if possible, to someone in Darwin.

My only options are to sell it or buy a new case (looking at the Antec P183), but it'd be much easier if I can just sell it! I can give you the exact dimensions in case you're concerned it might not fit your case.

I'm a new user on here, but Aegis can vouch for me.
