After some realy old laptop hard drives.

After some 2.5" IDE drives. The catch is no larger than 10gb.
Not going into a laptop so thickness of the drive is not an issue.
Going into an old bit of recording hardware so the 10gb limit is an issue(namely the IDE controller in the hardware won't support anything larger).
Let me know if you have anything trying to resurrect this unit as a favour.

Old multitrack recorder. Did some more research and looks like I might be able to use a compact flash card and a suitable adapter.

I run that setup in my Amigas, let me know if you need any info. CF cards only have a particular amount of writes before death, ie they'd be crap for a windows based system (slow, multiple page file writes) but fine on some applications.

I have most of the adapters at home, or could help you source some if you needed multiples.
They say if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. Thats nothing, cause if you play it forwards, it installs Windows
