Street View: Google "accidentally" collects data from unsecured Wifi networks

How could they "accidentally" collect this data and how the hell would the Feds get onto it? There's something more to this story. The only thing I can think of is that the government is trying to use this to discredit them with Google's much publicised negativity toward the new proposed internet filter.

FEDERAL police have launched an investigation into Google and some of its employees for collecting private information while taking photographs for the Street View service.

It was revealed last month the web giant's Street View cars had collected data from personal Wi-Fi networks while taking photographs in countries including Australia.

Senator Stephen Conroy, who stood alongside Mr McClelland today, last month said Google was responsible for the "single greatest breach in the history of privacy".
Turn it up, Conroy. You're a goose.

Just because you call it "decoded" instead of "fixed" doesn't make you cool. Especially when you're putting words (or rigid fat cocks) into people's mouths.
