    Thumbs up R15 F1 Singapore GP 2010

It's time for another under-lights race!

And, interestingly, the next 7 days in Singapore are going to be scattered with thunderstorms and showers.

Friday Practice 1 starts in 10 hours, with "Showers with thunder over many areas" during the next 12.

You fail at starting F1 race threads... some multimedia is needed

Webber feeling quietly confident in Singapore

BBC had a "email your questions to Mark Webber"
    Pretty chuffed they picked mine
    BBC Sport - F1 - Mark Webber Q&A

What's the story behind the Red Bull slow starts? You seem to get off the line OK but then get bogged down. Heading into Singapore, will this be addressed?
    Mike,
    Australia

"It turns out, certainly at Spa, it was a combination of quite a few things.

"When everything goes right with an F1 car, they're easy to get away, but when it doesn't it looks very much exaggerated that you've made a shocking start.

"The last few starts haven't been like they were at the start of the year, when we were making good starts. The team are working on it and we're confident we can address it in the future."
RBR looking very strong in practice so far. Ferrari close as well.

WOW what a race.. yes a procession at time.. but the action was intense.
Alonso with a start to finish win. 1st
Vettel could do nothing about the Ferrari. 2nd.
Webber opting for alt strategy and pitted during the early safety car for primes and boy did it pay off.
He had to work hard and passed cars but did enuf to jump both mclarens. Fantastic effort to get 3rd.
Lewis trys for a pass on Webber on the 2nd safety car, they tangle and Lewis comes of 2nd best and reties. I had multiple heart attacks and lost my voice.

Event-filled GP. Webber finishing 3rd and Hamilton out... couldn't ask for much more than that, as far as Webber's championship hopes are concerned.

Yes you could - for hot head Vettel to try and overtake Alonso on the last lap and take them both out

That's what I was looking for too, however we'll take the extended lead and move to Japan. If Ferrari are on top of Red Bull there Webber is in real trouble.

The Ferrari is shaping up to be quite a car, but Suzuka should favor the Red Bull and perhaps even more so the McLarens.

If Ferrari are on top at Suzuka, there'll be little doubt they're back on top in the bigger picture too. If that's the case, get ready to place some bets on Ferrari to take out next year's constructors and drivers championships.
