Channel Nine will release two new channels from October 18.
This will be followed by a new Southern Cross channel on October 24.
Channel Nine's GO! will launch on Digital Channel 99 - aiming at the target audience 19 to 39 year olds.
It will have shows such as The Vampire Diaries, Ladette to Lady USA, Gossip Girl and Seinfeld.
Channel Nine's other station, GEM, will be on the HD station 99 and will target female audiences 35 years and over.
It will broadcast shows such as Secret Millionaire, Weeds, Random Acts of Kindness and The Big C.
General manager Andy Bruyn said digital viewers must rescan their set top boxes to get their new stations.
"We're rapt that we're able to bring the new channels to the market," he said.
"We're sure it will be a massive hit with Darwin viewers."
The new Southern Cross channel - 7mate - will be found on channel 73.
It will launch in Darwin and Tasmania shortly after the end of the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games broadcast.
The station will be targeted at male audiences aged 16- 49 years.
The "bloke-friendly" channel will run episodes of Punk'd, Family Guy, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, How I Met Your Mother and 30 Rock.
Darwin TV viewers will now be spoilt for choice with more than a dozen free-to-air stations to choose from.
Freeview chief executive Robin Parkes said she was pleased viewers in Darwin would be able to enjoy the new channels.
"With 7mate's unique programming, our appeal to viewers in Darwin and Tasmania will be even broader ... and all for free," she said.
