Thread: Commonwealth Games - Delhi 2010

Well tonight its here. i love sport and this is the pinnacle of it (well apart from the summer olympic games.)

2 weeks of international competition. should of booked some more time off work, might try get another day off next week

I would really like to see the games go smoothly with no terrorists attacks or hygiene fears or anything else the media has been scaring us all with. the commonwealth game committee or whatever elected delhi as the host city so lets give them some support and lets see some great sport from their venues.

opening ceremony is tonight at 0030 cst for all you night owls. i hope there is a replay or a decent amount of highlights to watch tomorrow as i wont be up for it all.

anyone following the games or even a particular sport feel free to jump in the thread, post news articles and lets use the media functions to show highlights of medals, records and even the odd whoopsy.
