Thread: Archlord = crap

Dont bother with this game guys.

Its pretty much Lineage2 lite graphics, with a quest system similar to a single player game...kill 5 things, talk to this guy, then walk 2 metres and talk to this guy, go back and kill 5 more etc
The item system is just a typical MMO with a Final Fantasy slot system and runes on your weapons.
The most disappointing thing is the real world charges to your credit card based off game items.
There is a 'mall' that you can browse and buy and the charges go right to your gameaccount.
Eg: Potion giving 30% XP and Gold for 3 days cost about 7 bucks

Seems to be bugs and dupes around on a large scale, people offering millions for base crafting materials.

And its apparently going live/p2p in a week or two. From the week i played i'd say its got at least 3-4 months before being ready.

Recommendation to stay away.

You've played it far more than I have, so I will trust ya :p
That and the fact that that its not good enough to tear me away from wow :p

Hrmmm.
Its tough, but I'd go the hottub still.
Would take us a few go's to down Patchwerk, so Id get some loving in the mean time :p
