Please help us Hunters get this bug fixed. We've been treated like a piece of shit by hortus and his flat out refusal to help. This is my post from my guild forums:

Ages back when Hunter class mechanics first changed they adjusted our Agi:Crit ratio as part of the changes. The base agility however never got updated and as a result Hunters are missing around 5% dodge and 2% crit.

It has been reported over and over with no acknowledgement from Hortus (The person whos job it is to report this stuff) for 5 months now.

There was a thread on the PTR explaining everything about the bug, how to recreate it, maths EVERYTHING. It was 8 pages long and all constructive. It was deleted without any comment as to why.

Please copy/paste the following in an email to wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com as the bosses of the guys read these and take them seriously. If enough people complain hopefully Hortus will be forced to do his damn job.

When WoW developers changed Hunters' core mechanics from 53:1 crit ratio to 33:1 crit ratio in Dec 06, they did not change this within our base (naked) stats. With the scaling we've witnessed at 70 in TBC, our crit ratio from gear is 40:1. However, our base crit ratio is 69:1. This causes all hunters to lose about 1.5% crit rate at all times. it doesn't stop there. The dodge calculation is bugged also, so we constantly lose 5% dodge rate.

This is an old [BUG]. It has been reported for months. However, we keep entering new patches with the bug active and unaddressed. Hortus, who leads the bug report forum, REFUSES to acknowledge the bug or even say that it's working as intended (I can't see how would be true. No other class has a different crit/dodge calculation from gear than from base stats.)

Hunters are afraid that we are about to enter yet another patch with these 2 bugs affecting us 100% of the time. Can you imagine what kind of uproar the Warrior community would be making if they were missing out on 5% dodge, and 1.5% crit to boot? When 23 different hunters created 23 different bug report threads in Hortus' forum, he took the time to delete all of them and create a post warning us about spamming. Still, he refuses to acknowledge the bug and add it on the known bugs list. He refuses to say anything about it, even in the 12 page thread about it. We cannot provide him with any more evidence. He tells us to be patient, and we have been. This bug is as old as December, and affects our performance 100% of the time. We're being patient and we're being punked.

Please, Blizzard; add this to the list of known bugs and inform the developers. Do not let one employee stand in the way for whatever reason. If you'd like to see this yourself, make a cookie cutter 70 hunter on the PTR, get naked, and do the math. It's all there in black and white. We cannot make it any clearer for you. Do not let this bug go live yet again.

All of the above was posted in the Customer Service forum. The thread was moved to the Hunter forum, so I fear this is the only way that we can be heard by Blizzard.

I trust that you will follow the appropriate course of action, whether it is forcing Hortus to do his job, firing him, or what-have-you. I am a paying customer who is genuinely concerned about this 5-month old bug that he has consistently ignored. I would advise you to browse the Hunter forum and look at the thread titled "[MAJOR BUG] Hunter base agility bugged " (in the Bug Report Forum) if you'd like to see just how up-in-arms the Hunter community is regarding this.
