    Modem on the blink

    Not sure if its my modem, my phone line or the exchange.

    Keeps dropping me out and then reconnecting 10 mins later then dropping out again.

    Gonna try another modem tonite

    Also have you got the modem connected via usb or ethernet?

    I'm on cable but back when I was on ADSL I had some major problems like yours involving the USB dropping out. Connected it to the ethernet and ZING problem solvered.

    I think its my phone line, the actual phone itself doesnt work , last time this happened my DSL was fine, this time a little different

    errr the phone line doesn't even work without filters and no DSL modem attached?

    If thats the case, I'm suprised you've got a connection at all!
