pets what should we know about them?

cost money, xp
do u need to feed them
what happens when u die, they die
can u buy them or do u need to do quest for them
are they more useful for any class
can they be upgraded by lvls or equipment

Pets cost no money and no Xp (unless you buy their food from a vendor).
They need to be fed yes. They can be fed from the meat found on animals etc or fish that you catch etc. Certain pets will only eat red meats, some will only eat fish.
When you die, the pet desummons or dies trying to protect you. Whichever comes first. The pet can then be resummoned. There is no xp penalty for allowing a pet to die.
Pets are only usable by Hunters, so they are the only ones who benefit :p
You neither buy nor quest for pets. You learn an ability (after a very short quest) to tame animals. After you get this, you can tame almost every animal in the game.
Pets do not have armour or waepons. However they have training points which can enhance their natural armour and damage outputs and resistances to magic.l
