SB: CoCo, Unseen, Jono, Xcorz, Martok

SB wins CT 9-3

Pretty convincing, won the pistol round easily but in true SB style managed to loose the next round when we had colts/mp5/armour and they didn't, won the next 5 straight.We lost another round from a middle rush and one from an outside camp/sprawl. Unseen and I held the lower site pretty clear the entire map, with Martok particularly good in the middle and Xcorz pushing through while Jono pulled off some clutch shots.

So you think we'd be right ehh? Grrr

SEMNI wins CT 10-2
We got locked out bad, too slow on the pistol round and some excellent defense and wall shooting rattled our guys a bit and we only won our 2 rounds at the end of the game when it was pretty much over.
Props to Killer and Xcorz for some very nice AWPi'ng on both sides.
And bloody Eye......just can't hit the bastard ( me anyway)

Second Map
Cobble
We went into this map pretty worried, first time playing it in 1.6 and although this has traditionally been one of our stronger maps some bad beatings on the GA ladder on this map left us wondering.

SB wins T's 9-3
Won the pistol round again and the subsequent rounds, had our groove going with a few nice strat variations that kept SEMNI guessing. Got bogged down mid map tho as we tried too much I think and came unstuck however going back to the basics was the treat and we ran it out.
Only thing I can remember from this map was Jono killing more people in the one round with his scout then Xcorz with his awp

SB win CT's 7-5
We got the pistol round with a good early call by me and then took the rounds we needed to win the map, SEMNI fought back well but on cobble the simplest strats seem to work best for both sides and we kept them out.

SB wins cbble 16-8

Another great war, very close it seems to be depending on the map, however last weeks result where SB came away with a 2 round victory over 2 maps are pretty much indicating that a strong SEMNI team with Apophis/Eye/Born/Gouda/Killer+ few others are easily a match for our best team.

Does help that they are cablers tho
