  • Bad Company 2 unlocks for Veterans participants

Completely unknown to me until last night was the Battlefield Veteran program. Forum member Milenko points out that by simply adding your old Battlefield games using LIVE Gamertag, PSN ID, game login or CD-key you'll be treated to some BC2 unlocks sooner than anyone else. Just jump onto the Veterans website using your EA account, the same login details you use for Bad Company 2, and start adding those classic titles...

My personal Veteran rank is 1, which was reached just by adding my Battlefield 2 details to the system. This entitles me to the M1 Garand as soon as BC2 is released. Keep in-mind that expansions don't count towards your rank - only major release titles. However Battlefield Heroes, which is free, does count toward your rank, so make sure you go start a Heroes account with those same EA login details.

  • Mass Effect 3 review
    by cmdr_lynchie
The first two instalments of the Mass Effect series are widely considered to be some of the best games ever made. Certainly they rank among the greatest RPGs. With the outstanding quality of their story telling, and their stunning audio and visuals, they set the bar so high for the third instalment that some began to wonder if disappointment was inevitable. Thankfully the doubters have been proven wrong, as with Mass Effect 3 Bioware has not only cleared the bar, but they raised it several not...
