ID:	596524 Tired of seeing those red spikes in your Call of Duty: Black Ops lag-o-meter? We hear you. Five days after launch, are still pursuing a resolution in hand with Treyarch, but still do not understand the source of the problem, nor have an accurate estimated time of arrival for a working fix. They have decided to keep us in the loop despite that, making another statement on the matter earlier today.

Brendan Kiel from tell us that they "are currently working directly with the game's developer as well as running system checks on our own end to determine the precise cause of this issue. We are nearing a solution and should have a correction in place in the very near future."

For those of you more concerned with the remaining game performance bugs, this is what JD_2020 tells us know Treyarch are currently working on in-house:
    • GPU hitching on certain graphics cards.
    • Incomplete server browser results.
    • Improvements to Quickmatch joins (results with better ping and reduced lag).
    • Zombies "The game session is no longer available" error.

I've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....
