ID:	602335If you're someone who has followed Penny Arcade for any amount of time then you know that Mike Krahulik (aka Gabe) is an epic Star Wars nerd. He's been playing BioWare's upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO for the last month and has just shared his thoughts. Although the game is still in beta and his post hardly constitutes a review it is still arguably the first feedback so far on the title from a gamer's perspective.


    With the recent news that the digital version of SW:TOR will only be available through EA's Origin store dampening the enthusiasm of some fans it is perhaps timely that some positive feedback on the game has emerged to reinvigorate those disappointed by the announcement.

    While he speaks about SW:TOR in positive terms, he stresses that he wasn't compelled to do so by either BioWare or his innate Star Wars fanboy-ness. He writes:

      As someone who was let down by the way STO turned out I understand where your skepticism comes from. At the same time though we're takling about BioWare here. You know BioWare, right? As in, BioWare. The company that is known as BioWare? As opposed to Cryptic.

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue.
