This latest behind the scenes look at RAGE explores The Wasteland, its variety of intense missions, as well as co-op and multiplayer combat rally racing. For those that are excited enough to pre-order id Software's latest shooter, JB HI-FI has a neat deal which bundles the game with all three issues of the RAGE comic book series.
"As these comic books are not available anywhere else in Australia or New Zealand, gamers will be extremely excited to get their hands on this highly sought after offer. Issue 1 and 2 from the series are out now, with the highly anticipated issue 3 due to hit shelves overseas in late August.
"The three comic book series is an original miniseries written by Arvid Nelson, the acclaimed creator of Rex Mundi, and pencilled by Andrea Mutti (DMZ). This comic series, developed with the direct participation of RAGE's Creative Director, Tim Willits, presents an essential introduction to the world of RAGE, as one woman discovers that the survival of humankind doesn't necessarily mean the survival of humanity. Set prior to the events in the game, this comic series presents a unique introduction to the world of RAGE, providing numerous insights into the game's storyline."

The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. There are also a bunch of new weapons: the Para, the TEC-9 Pistol, the SG 552 (pictured), and the AUG....

by recI've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....
