ID:	597314Not too long ago Kogan began selling grey-market Apple, Samsung, Canon and Nikon products at far cheaper prices than what you would find in Australian stores, online or bricks-and-mortar. JB HI-FI then went on to launch their "Direct Import" store online for digital SLR camera products, citing inflated prices by Australian suppliers as the reason.

Harvey Norman is the next in line to send a strong message about pricing in Australia, with Gerry Harvey hypocritically announcing www.harveynormandirectimport.comozgameshop.com is still cheaper and does indeed specialise in Australian imports. Despite the other import options already available, there is no doubt that having a big-name AU retailer fall in-line with international pricing will create waves, ones that benefit Australian consumers.

Kotaku AU's Mark Serrelsozgameshop.com, the newly launched Harvey Norman Direct Import online store, or Steam using a VPN, there are now plenty of strong alternatives to paying the $40-$50 extra that the likes of EB Games and GAME are charging you. Happy discounted shooting, or casting, or whatever it is you like doing.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. There are also a bunch of new weapons: the Para, the TEC-9 Pistol, the SG 552 (pictured), and the AUG....

      by rec
I've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....
