Bad Company 2 has day 1 map pack
The beta is over, but it looks like DICE is keen to keep us entertained until release with a bunch of new media and information. Just revealed is that purchasing a brand new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will also mean ownership of a one-use "VIP code", which will provide free downloads of the just announced launch day maps, as well as future content. This is bad news for those who planned on picking up a second hand copy, as you'll undoubtedly be charged for this content through your gaming platform's digital marketplace. Hit the jump for the DICE's explanation of the pack..... -

50% off Wings of Prey until Thursday
I talked about Wings of Prey on the forums recently. Playing it, I garnered a new found interest in flights sims, and it even pushed me in the direction of buying my first flight stick. It's awesome. I've been playing it a bit with Jimmy, and plan to play it a lot more - as soon as I can drag myself away from Battlefield: Bad Company 2's beta. For anyone else that's interested in playing, it's only $24.99 USD on Steam until Thursday....

by cmdr_lynchieThe first two instalments of the Mass Effect series are widely considered to be some of the best games ever made. Certainly they rank among the greatest RPGs. With the outstanding quality of their story telling, and their stunning audio and visuals, they set the bar so high for the third instalment that some began to wonder if disappointment was inevitable. Thankfully the doubters have been proven wrong, as with Mass Effect 3 Bioware has not only cleared the bar, but they raised it several not...
