More Australian retailers to support R18+ movement

GAME and Gametraders recently spoke to GameSpot AU about their new and public support for a ratings system revamp, which EB Games have been promoting as of late. They're doing so with eyes wide open, fully expecting and being able to adhere to strict requirements for the sale of R18+ games. FIFA 11 aims to end rage-quitting

Rage-quitting is the bane of many a FIFA player's existence. The minute you're up is the minute your competitor quits the game. It seems there is light at the end of the tunnel, though. EA Canada's Simon Humber told Eurogamer that EA is looking to add a reward system to FIFA 11 that would encourage players to finish matches, win or lose. Hallelujah.

Day-one DLC for Bad Company 2

It's a woeful path that developers have begun to take; creating downloadable content for the game prior to it going gold, and then often charging an additional amount for it - when it could have been included with the game's release. It seems our beloved Battlefield: Bad Company 2 may not be any holier, but whether BC2's newly announced DLC will be free or paid has not been revealed. The nifty part of this news though, is that PC may be graced with the opportunity partake if we wish......

  • Mass Effect 3 review
    by cmdr_lynchie
The first two instalments of the Mass Effect series are widely considered to be some of the best games ever made. Certainly they rank among the greatest RPGs. Thankfully the doubters have been proven wrong, as with Mass Effect 3 Bioware has not only cleared the bar, but they raised it several not...
