iPhone to get gaming network with OS 4.0
The cat is out of the bag on the next major iPhone update. Mostly importantly for everyday use is the official implementation of multitasking, as featured in the embedded video - but this and many other features will only be possible on the iPhone 3GS and newer. There's a whole lot more than multitasking to gawk at, however..... -

Marvel vs Capcom 3 on the way
Henaki of Team Spooky has written an article claiming that Marvel vs Capcom 3 is to be announced by Capcom in May of this year. Stray rumors like this about many games hit the web thick and fast, but the difference here is that Henaki is the same poster who leaked the entire Super Street Fighter IV roster last year, and got it right...

Ubisoft & Settlers 7 still plagued with DRM woes
You know, I wanted to buy Settlers 7. And I still do, but I'm glad I didn't buy it on launch, and it looks like my purchase may be a ways off yet. A huge number of owners still cannot even play thanks to Ubisoft's highly flawed digital rights management scheme that entails always-on connectivity to their master servers. 2 weeks after the game's release, Ubisoft has told Eurogamer that their "technical teams have made progress but we are not yet able to say that the issue is completely resolved."... -

Crysis 2 debut trailer live from Time Square
Just hours ago, bystanders of Time Square billboards were privy to the very first Crysis 2 trailer. Crytek's Tweet yesterday read "The invasion begins in Times Square TONIGHT @ 10:00, 10:20 & 10:40 - Get an early first look at Crysis 2!" Well, now that's done and dusted and the recordings have begun to pour onto the web..... -

Thankfully the doubters have been proven wrong, as with Mass Effect 3 Bioware has not only cleared the bar, but they raised it several not...
