NBA JAM's reboot was initially going to be a Nintendo Wii exclusive, with non-online versions bundled with the now cancelled NBA Live, err, "NBA Elite" 2011. It turns out that with EA Sports' flagship basketballer put on the bench, and the high anticipation for some old-school boom-shakalaka action, it was decided NBA JAM would see its very own Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release - in HD, with full online multiplayer support. It's not all good news, though...
From what I'm reading around the intertraps, most people expected NBA JAM would appear on XBLA and PSN. Instead, it'll be hitting retail stores, boxed. What people expected to pay $15-$30 for, is now going to cost AUD $75. Yes, that's right, $75! As excited as I am, and even aching to get my hands on this, it must be said that $75 is outrageous. Even so, I can't not buy it. It's out November 25th.
