    Click image for larger version Name: nathan-drake.jpg Views: 1 Size: 40.3 KB ID: 596554 That sinking feeling you're experiencing is the hopes and dreams of every PlayStation 3 owner being devoured by Marky Mark. Not that I really have anything against good ol' Mark Whalberg, but I do have a problem with him playing Nathan Drake in the forthcoming Uncharted movie. Nathan Drake, voiced by Nolan North, practically is Uncharted, so it breaks my heart to know that a personality so far from his has been chosen for the part.


    And it's not just personality, let's get real about this. Mark doesn't have the square jaw of fireman, he doesn't have the silky-suave voice of a lady killer, and he doesn't have those dreamy green eyes. Not that I've got any closeted feelings for Nathan Drake, but Mark is a tiny man with a smug smile, and a huge forehead - it just won't do!

    Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed on Twitter that the forthcoming Sony PlayStation Vita will be region free.     Straight out of GamesCom 2011 is this new Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception trailer, and it's every bit as awesome as an Uncharted fan would hope for. Seen during Sony's press conference, Naughty Dog get Drake climbing moving planes, falling out of them, while looking handsome doing it. James Bond eat your heart out; bring on November.

  • PlayStation 4 may surface as early as 2012

    The last round of speculation and rumour suggested a 2014 release for the PlayStation 4. However a new Digi Times Report claims Sony's Taiwan-based partners, Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, will begin production of the PS4 at the end of 2011 - ready for a 2012 release. Not only that, but it is said that the console is set to feature movement-based controls, not dissimilar to Microsoft's Kinect.

  • Limbo heading to the PlayStation 3

    It looks like the highest grossing Xbox Live Arcade title for 2010, Playdead's critically acclaimed Limbo, might well be headed to the PlayStation 3. Gematsu are reporting that a Korean Game Rating Board classification filed on June 29 lists the game as 15+, with Sony Computer Entertainment Korea as the publisher. Playdead has been contacted for comment....
