  • Battlefield 3 gets a showing on the PS3

You've seen this Battlefield 3 sequence before, but this time it's played on the PlayStation 3, live with Jimmy Fallon. Some gamers aren't happy about it not looking as good as the PC version, but it is a PS3 after all. Johan Andersson, a rendering architect working on the Frostbite engine, retorted with a Tweet: "why would anyone expect that console would look the same as PC? if that was the case we would have failed with the PC version."

They say that and then they go and port it anyway.... fuckers. Not necessarily this game but most other developers chase the console dollar... /sad panda face.

At least they've put smacks of effort into PC, and it has been the primary dev platform. Most other developers are so focused on the console dollar that the PC versions suffer.
