Android has had multi touch to the same extent as the Iphone has since early 2008. It is the OEM's or the hackers (in a Linux sense) wither they choose to include it in their builds. However you then have to have applications that support the libraries / drivers.
Couldn't be bothered starting a new thread so thought I'd comment here
Just got the Galaxy Nexus yesterday and gotta say it's quite a cool phone. A lot larger than I'm used to (previous phone was a Sony Xperia X10). Is a very quick phone and simple to use. THough that being said I have found some annoying things like option choices and ring/message tone setups etc.
Overall though I would recommend it but maybe hold off until the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE comes out and see a comparison of those two.
